  1. Managing cookies

Make sure cookies are enabled in your browser. To enable cookies, you can consult the help section of the respective browser you are using for the latest instruction. At the time of writing, the following actions were needed:

For browser – Microsoft Edge

  • In Internet Explorer, click on ‘Internet Options’ in the ‘Tools’ menu.
  • On the ‘Privacy’ tab, move the settings slider to ‘low’ or ‘accept all cookies’ (setting above ‘medium’ disables cookies).
  • Click OK.

By browser – Mozilla Firefox

  • Click on “Firefox” in the top left corner of your browser, then click on “Options.”
  • On the ‘Privacy’ tab, make sure that the ‘Let websites know I don’t want to be tracked’ is unchecked.
  • Click OK.

By browser – Google Chrome

  • Click on the three dots next to the browser bar at the top of your browser window and choose ‘Options’.
  • Find the ‘Privacy and security’ section and click on ‘content settings’.
  • Click on the ‘cookies’ option.
  • Now select ‘Allow sites to save and read cookie data’.

On Browser – Safari

  • Choose Preferences from the Action menu. (The Action menu is in the upper-right corner of the Safari window and looks like a gear, or click Safari in the expanded Action menu.)
  • Click on the Privacy tab. Find the section called ‘Cookies and Other Website Data’
  • Indicate that you accept cookies.

If you  want to consult www.gemsotec.com, it is recommended that you have cookies enabled.   • Select “Cookies.”
  • Turn off “Allow sites to store and read cookie data.”

On Browser – Safari

  • Choose Preferences from the Action menu. (The Action menu is in the upper-right corner of the Safari window and looks like a gear, or click Safari in the expanded Action menu.)
  • Click on the Privacy tab. Find the section called ‘Cookies and Other Website Data’
  • Please indicate that you do not accept cookies.

  1. Rights of visitors

Since cookies may constitute the processing of personal data, you as the data subject have the right to the lawful and secure processing of the personal data. As a data subject, you can exercise the following rights:

  • Right to object: If there are compelling and legitimate reasons, you can object to the processing of personal data.
  • Right of access: Any data subject who proves his or her identity has a right of access to information on the existence or non-existence of processing of his or her personal data, as well as the purposes of this processing, the categories of data to which such processing relates and the categories of recipients to whom the data are disclosed.
  • Right to rectification: Inaccurate or incomplete personal data can be corrected or even erased at any time at the request of the data subject.
